Covid-19 Response

As our City grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working closely with our Bronx community members to provide multifaceted supports for our students, families, teachers and schools.

We are serving our community in these primary capacities:

Community Need

Learn More

We have been distributing free meals to community members on Mondays through Fridays, between 1:30pm – 3:00pm, at the DreamYard Art Center. As of September 22 2020, we’ve served over 100,000 free meals, bagged groceries, and produce! Read more about our free meal distribution here.

In collaboration with Google, Fjord, the NYC Dept. of Education as well as a dozen community-based organizations, we have also distributed nearly 1,000 hostposts and Chromebooks to partner schools in the Bronx. Together, we are ensuring Bronx youth are able to continue their education through remote learning with the requisite technology.

Advocacy

We are proud to be a part of this coalition of leaders in our Borough.
