2024 BronxWrites Poetry Slam Finals

Elementary and middle school students have spent the semester working on their poetry: editing, rehearsing and memorizing. After a series of virtual slam competitions in DreamYard schools across the Bronx, the best teams are going head-to-head tonight, VIRTUALLY.
These young poets have poured countless hours into their poems. Join us in celebrating their work with cheers, finger snaps, hoots, and foot-stomps. They’ve all earned their spot on stage.

Due to the winter storm, tonight’s IN PERSON part of our poetry slam at Joe’s Pub is canceled. However, a blizzard cannot stop the POETRY! We WILL be hosting the BronxWrites Slam virtually over Zoom. Join the SLAM from the warmth of your home!
Zoom Room Opens: 6:15 p.m.
Poetry Slam Starts: 6:30 p.m.
