Montefiore Adolescent AIDS Program
In the winter of 2009, Montefiore Adolescent AIDS Program provided free HIV testing for the Revolution/Resistance cohort’s Red Party. Montefiore Adolescent AIDS Program serves as a local and national resource for those living with HIV/AIDS; adolescents who are at-risk for HIV infection; health care providers who treat adolescents living with or at-risk for HIV infection; and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning adolescents, their families and caregivers.

Metro Teen AIDS
In the Summer of 2009, The Revolution and Resistance cohorts partnered with the youth of Metro Teen AIDS (MTA) raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in Washington D.C. Through education, support, and advocacy, MTA works to prevent the spread of HIV, promote responsible decision making, and improve the quality of life for young people infected with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS.

Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD), Project H.E.A.T. (Health Alternatives for Teens) and L.O.T.U.S. (Ladies Opposed to Unsafe Sex)
In the Summer of 2009, the A.C.T.I.O.N. Project combined Revolution/Resistance cohort conducted interviews with HIV positive young people of color. The interviews were transformed into theatre, poetry and a documentary entitled, “Positive”.

Bronx AIDS Services
In the Spring of 2009, Bronx AIDS Services conducted an HIV 101 workshop for the Revolution/Resistance Cohorts. Bronx AIDS Services is a non-profit community-based organization.

Georgetown University
During the summer of 2009, A.C.T.I.O.N.‘s Revolution/Resistance cohort resided on the campus of Georgetown University while working on their HIV/AIDS awareness project.

Classical Theatre of Harlem
In the Summer of 2009, the Classical Theatre of Harlem offered internships for two Bronx Acting Ensemble members to work on their critically acclaimed production of Tartuffe Supreme.

Second Stage Theatre Company
In the Fall of 2009, The Bronx Acting Ensemble received a free subscription for Second Stage Theatre Company’s 2009-2010 season. Second Stage Theatre produces a diverse range of premieres and new interpretations of America's best contemporary theatre.

Plum TV
In the Winter of 2010, A.C.T.I.O.N. was selected to one of a select group of organizations to be featured in Plum TV’s “Citizen Active”, a four part documentary series “devoted to remarkable people who are working for important change”.

The Point
Beginning in the fall of 2007, the A.C.T.I.O.N. Project’s year-long Saturday programming was based at The Point until we moved into the DreamYard Art Center in the Spring of 2009. The Point Community Development Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to youth development and the cultural and economic revitalization of the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx.

StoryCorps
During the summer of 2007, the A.C.T.I.O.N. Project’s Pioneer group worked with StoryCorps to interview each other and members of the community and used the interviews to inform their summer projects. StoryCorps is a national project to instruct and inspire people to record one another's stories in sound.

KID smART
During the summer of 2006, the A.C.T.I.O.N. Project's Pioneer cohort worked with 8-15 year olds in the 7th Ward at a summer camp run by KID smART, a New Orleans based nonprofit created to teach positive life skills to children through the performing and visual arts.

Vassar College
During the Summer of 2006 and the Summer of 2007, Vassar College welcomed the A.C.T.I.O.N. Project onto their campus for the A.C.T.I.O.N. Summer intensive program. www.vassar.edu

Lehman College
Lehman College has served DreamYard as a longstanding partner, co-hosting the Region 1 Arts Festival, bi-yearly poetry slam performances, an annual staff and artists retreat, and many other performances and celebrations throughout the year. Lehman provides a generous portion of space for the ACTION Project, which is based at Lehman during the summer.

New Settlement Apartments College Access Center offers college preparatory resources to A.C.T.I.O.N. participants, including college trips, meetings with admissions representatives, test preparation, personal essay writing workshops and financial aid assistance.
Bronx Museum

The Bronx Museum
The Bronx Museum will be the site of our annual Visual Arts Exhibition featuring work by curated members of Bronx Art Collective. The Bronx Museum of the Arts focuses on 20th-century and contemporary art, while serving the culturally diverse populations of the Bronx and the greater New York metropolitan area.
